About This Project

For the first time in the United States, an airline terminal was unitized and fabricated off site while the UG utilities and piers were being installed on site in an accelerated concourse delivery system. The High C gates had constraints on four sides that required six individual units to be fabricated and transported 1-1/2 miles across the runway, put in place, then filled in with three conventional stick built units. CESG provided the underground and above ground electrical infrastructure to support the terminal. The use of technology, coordination and scheduling will set the bar for future airline terminal construction.
